Alpha Data Use Notice

Service processing uses the content you submit to deliver the analysis, retrieval, drafting, storage, review, or output you request. This is part of providing the StoryMind service and does not by itself authorise product-improvement use or model training.

If you give separate Alpha improvement consent, authorised StoryMind staff may use selected content and feedback to evaluate and improve StoryMind-owned methods, prompts, retrieval, quality checks, templates, and product experience. We aim to minimise content, use approved examples, and restrict access by role.

Model or provider training is a separate use. It is not authorised merely because you use StoryMind or agree to service processing. No AI or content-extraction provider is currently configured to receive StoryMind customer content. If that changes, the provider, purpose, data category, transfer, and consent choice will be disclosed before the provider receives customer content.

Human review means authorised, role-scoped, and recorded staff access for service support, security, abuse prevention, quality evaluation, or an Alpha improvement purpose described to you. Review is limited to what is necessary for the stated purpose.

Public sharing happens only when you separately select an eligible public visibility setting. Alpha contribution never changes Private, Workspace, or Company visibility and never makes content public.

Submit only material you are authorised to share. Do not submit confidential client information without suitable agreements and safeguards, unnecessary personal or special-category data, passwords, API keys, or payment data. Prefer approved facts and selected excerpts over unnecessary source material.

Withdraw future Alpha-improvement use in Privacy & Data settings or by emailing hello@storymind.net. We acknowledge the request within 5 business days and stop new Alpha-improvement use within 30 days. Material already included in irreversible aggregate measurements, or retained for service, security, legal duties, or a dispute, may not be removable from that completed record. Withdrawal does not change access to or visibility of your private tenant data.
